TIMELINE: MY PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE

• 2007 Spring - I was introduced to the "Holga" toy camera and lo-fi style photography. After shooting a few rolls became obsessed with shooting everything and anything that surrounded me.
• 2007 Autumn - I took my first steps into the world of digital photography when i purchased a Sony Cybershot digital compact, this enabled me to shoot hundreds of images without the worry of processing costs.
• 2008 Summer - My first 35mm SLR was bought at this time, it was a Praktica LTL with a 50mm Carl Ziess lens. I purchased this from a car boot sale for the sum of £4 and as a result had to do some soldering to get the light meter to work again (using the internet for instructions). This did however give me an insight in to the workings of a camera.
• 2008 Winter - I finally managed to bite the bullet and buy my first Digital SLR, this was the Canon 450d that use to this day. It came with the stock 18-55mm lens, which i have recently traded for a 50mm f1.8 prime.
• 2009 Spring - I decided I was going to apply for a photography course and after looking at various universities decided upon one on my doorstep (Truro college). I started the course in september and am thrilled to say im loving it.
